Chancel Ringers

The Chancel Ringers Handbell Choir, led by Director Sharon Reese, is an advanced adult handbell choir. The Chancel Ringers meet on Wednesday evenings (August through May) from 6:00-7:15pm. The 11-member ensemble plays five octaves of Schulmerich handbells and a three-octave set of Malmark handchimes.

The Chancel Ringers play approximately eight times a year during the Sunday morning worship service.

What opportunities does the Chancel Ringers offer?

Our most important role is ministering to the church and to God through music. We play a wide range of music, often featuring other instrumentalists.
In mid-May, St. Paul’s music ministries ends its formal year with a Ring ‘n Sing Sunday comprised of favorite selections from the Chancel Choir and Chancel Ringers.

If you’re an experienced ringer interested in joining the handbell choir, contact Sharon Reese to see if there is an opening for a regular or substitute position.
