Monday, September 21st from 5:30pm – 6:30pm
Shawnee St. Paul’s is excited to announce the launch of the Mission Post! The Mission Post is home to over 60 mailboxes for our neighbors experiencing homelessness or alternative circumstances inhibiting their ability to have a mailing address.
We will also be offering: a voter registration opportunity, information and assistance from Community Health Center, a community resource list, and more.
Shawnee St. Paul’s is passionate about its calling to our mission field and to serve our neighbors through relationships, resources, and restoration. We know that not having a mailing address creates a large barrier for those needing state and local services, individuals applying for jobs, men and women transitioning out of domestic violence situations, voter registration, and more. We want to help our neighbors overcome this obstacle.
Our in-person Registration Event will be held in our north parking lot on Monday, September 21st during our Community Dinner. Join us at 5:30pm for a free meal and apply for a Mission Post box. All Mission Post boxes are free as a part of our ministry in the name of Jesus Christ.
