The Mission Post is launching the Address It campaign to help Shawnee citizens who are in need of an address. We want to assist people with job applications and with attaining community services. Don’t wait any longer. Address It with a new mailbox today.

We know that not having a mailing address creates a large barrier for those needing state and local services, individuals applying for jobs, men and women transitioning out of domestic violence situations, voter registration, and more.

The Mission Post is home to over 60 mailboxes for our neighbors experiencing homelessness or alternative circumstances inhibiting their ability to have a mailing address.

The Mission Post is passionate about its calling to serve the people of Shawnee, OK and to do so through relationships, resources, and restoration.

We know that not having a mailing address creates a large barrier for those needing state and local services, individuals applying for jobs, men and women transitioning out of domestic violence situations, voter registration, and more. We want to help those in our community address the challenges before them by providing mailboxes and mailing addresses for free.

Mission Post mailboxes are free. To apply for a mailbox, come to the Mission Post located at 301 N. Beard Ave. in downtown Shawnee. Mission Post hours are Monday – Thursday, from 1pm to 4pm.

A Mission Post volunteer will be available to assist you with the application and assign you a box. Please come to our west doors located on Beard Ave. You can also print off an application, fill it out, and bring it to us.
