1st Thessalonians 3:9-13
Thoughts for reflection: When Paul was writing what we know as 1st Thessalonians, he was writing to what had been his most difficult church start so far. Yet as he does this, he is reflecting on them with such love, appreciation, and gratitude. I believe this is a testament to the faith Paul had to be willing to keep the love of Christ foremost in his thoughts and actions.
Where are those situations in your life where, in spite of the incredible difficulty, you are still able to be loving and grateful? Can you do that when it comes to living your faith? Do you see living out your faith as something you can do with love, or do you see it more as a chore or burden? Why is this? What can you do about this?
