1st Thessalonians 2:1-13

Thoughts for reflection:  Paul found himself in a situation where people were hostile towards him to the point that they ended up throwing him out of town.  In the midst of this, he continued to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ honestly and with integrity.  He did not soften or change the message to make it more palatable or pleasing to those who were hearing it.

What are some aspects of the Christian faith you tend to minimize or disregard, either to yourself or others because of how challenging or difficult they might be?  What is it about these things that leads you to do this?
