2nd Thessalonians 2:1-5, 13-17
Thoughts for reflection: In today’s reading, you hear strong echoes of the reading from Monday. The challenges the people had once faced in worshiping false idols and other gods are still presenting a challenge for them.
We can easily have the misimpression that once we give our life to Christ, all the problems we once had are gone. I have often heart it said, “the closer we get to Jesus, the harder Jesus is on us, and the further we are from Jesus, the easier Jesus is on us.” Have you found this to be true in your life? If so, when? Where might Jesus be calling you to grow in your faith, irrespective of the adversity, today?
